Innovation Offensive for Ligna
Last year at the Ligna Möhringer has presented 12 innovations – across all sawing technologies. The leadership in the frame saw technology is being expanded by the new iFRAMESAW: electronically controlled infeed and overhang as well as different automatic options which make the frame saw more flexible and productive. Two new iFRAMSAWs have been delivered shortly to the well-known Russian furniture manufacturer MEKRAN in Krasnojarsk. The superior frame saw technology was one of the reasons why Möhringer was awarded the contract for the delivery to MEKRAN of an entire saw mill including edging and sorting.

The plant manufacturer from Wiesentheid has shown further highlights for the processing of hardwood. With the new carriage FLEXIDRIVE the clamping heads can be adjusted individually lengthwise in order to assure an optimum tensioning position. The energy efficient drive with energy reintegration saves more than 20% of energy costs compared to conventional drives. The new FLEXIDRIVE was recently delivered to Holzwerke Templin, D-Templin and to the saw mill Alt, D-Schwebheim.
The vacuum stacking unit FLEXISTACK is also new and can stack edged and non-edged products automatically to finished packages, if needed also with the automatic laying of slats.

Complete Saw Mill for Furniture Manufacturing to Krasnojarsk, Russia
Möhringer prevailed over the rough international competition and was awarded the contract from the famous Russian furniture producer Mekran for an entire saw mill.
In 2011, together with other well-known German producers we are building a very modern furniture production site with the entire chain of economic value added. Amongst others, the superior frame saw technology of the technology leader Möhringer was the decisive factor: efficient feeding with fast infeed, operation of two high performance steel frame saws by just one person, automatically controlled infeed, chain bed outfeed guide. Log feeder with reducer and debarker, automatic edging, sorting and stacking unit as well as the complete disposal also belongs to Möhringer’s scope of delivery.
